Kirk Braddan, the parish church of the parish of Braddan, is at Braddan Bridge, on the Douglas-Peel road just outside the western edge of Douglas, and a landmark on the TT motorcycle race course.
Everyone, whether living in our parish or not, is invited to our services and other activities. Visitors to the Island are especially welcome.

Appointment of new Bishop of Sodor and Man

Canon R Paterson On 8th February HM The Queen approved the appointment of the Rev Canon Robert Mar Erskine Paterson MA as the new Bishop of Sodor and Man in succession to the Rt Rev Graeme Knowles. Bishop Paterson was consecrated on 25th April at York, and will be enthroned at Peel Cathedral on 14th June.

He is aged 58 and was formerly chaplain to the Archbishop of York. He is married to Pauline, and they have three grown-up children. His interests include current affairs, early music, literature, walking, cycling and the countryside.
