Kirk Braddan and its adjacent church hall serve a community of more than 7,000 people in the fastest growing parish in the Isle of Man. The present hall dates from 1912 and is now quite inadequate for the needs of the Church and community. The Community Hall project has been developed by Kirk Braddan Parochial Church Council to serve those needs, and to commemorate 2000 years since the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Phase 1 of the project comprises a new toilet block, a new entrance and a
link between the church and the existing hall. It was dedicated by the Bishop of Sodor and Man on 22nd February 2004. Future phases include —
- a new multi-purpose Community Hall
- a car-park
- the division of the present hall to form two meeting rooms and a choir room
